After the royal visit in 1876, Jaipur Pink became the mandatory shade for all buildings within the city walls, and it remains so to this day. The color is known locally as gulabi, and its ubiquity makes the city's breadth a kind of unified artwork.

Jaipur Necklace

To capture the rose-shaded streetscape of Jaipur, this necklace centers a vibrant rubellite of 5.36 carats. Such a brilliant hue is enhanced by five pink tourmalines, cut in the same pear shape. A rainbow of rubellites and diamonds finishes the motif. The carefully matched color of each jewel pays homage to the harmonious aesthetic of the city’s architecture.

The Jaipur Suite

Teardrop tourmalines in pink honor the signature color of the city of Jaipur. The suite is designed to capture the welcoming warmth and visual softness of the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The suite's brilliant earrings are designed in the form of a gracious curve, climbing the ear with clear, sparkling diamonds and pear-shaped rubellite drops.

Known as the “Pink City,” Jaipur, India, was painted in its signature uniform hue 150 years ago to celebrate a joyal visit. That hue inspired Winston designers to create a jewelry suite imbued with the warmth and hospitality of a vibrant culture.

    To capture the depth and beauty of Jaipur, Winston designers studied the city’s architectural details. For the collection’s bracelet, and necklace, and earrings, Winston's artisans arranged jewels in softly curving lines, paying homage to the city’s domed buildings and arched windows.
